Findlay Falls to Ohio Dominican in G-MAC Quarterfinals

Findlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay women's volleyball team lost against Ohio Dominican University in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Quarterfinal in a three-set match (25-21, 30-28, 25-19) on Tuesday Nov. 16 in Niekamp Arena. The loss ends the Oilers season leaving the with a 16-9 record on the year and 12-4 in the conference.  

The Oilers were led by freshman Journey Blevins. She recorded 18 kills on 42 attempts leading her to hit .167. Blevins also added 8 digs.  

Assisting Blevins was senior Madison Moore. Moore assisted with 10 kills and hit .364 on the match.  

Junior Emma Meyer had 7 kills and one block. 

Senior Abigail Schroeder had 34 assists on the night.  

The Panthers dominated the match outhitting the Oilers .157 to .312.  

The Panthers will move on to the G-MAC Semifinal matchup against Ashland University.
