Oilers Complete All-Ohio Championship

Cedarvile, Ohio - The University of Findlay Men and Women's Cross Country team competed at the All-Ohio Collegiate XC Championships on Saturday, September 28. The men's team finished in 30th place in the 8k, while the women's team finished in 18th place out of 35 teams in the 6k.

Men's 8k:

Ryan Kohout led the Oilers with a time of 29:03.9, which placed him in 177th overall.

Ethan Adams was not far behind Kohout as he posted a time of 29:12.3, and Tristin Freistuhler ran a 29:23.1 to stay in pace with the top Oilers.

Other Oiler races included Wade Hopkins, (29:50.3), Noah Louria, (30:52.1), and Dylan Hunter, (32:24.6).

Women's 6k: 

Gabrielle Lawrence led the Orange and Black with a time of 23:34.0, which was good enough for a 40th place finish. 

Megan Donoher was the next finisher for the Oilers as she posted a time of 24:40.2, which put her at 102nd place.

Other Oiler computers included Matilda Jeruto, (25:11.6), Morgan Gaskins, (25:13.4), Madisen Borer, (27:36.6), and London Moening, (27:38.0).

The Oilers XC teams will be back in action on Saturday, October 12 as they will compete in the Fast Cats Classic, which will take place in Yellow Creek Park, Kentucky.
