Comments from the Coach

"What an exciting day," says head coach Eric Wymer. "This was the first time Findlay has had the opportunity to host a cross country conference championship since 2006. The support from the community was incredible!

As far as the meet goes the women performed so well. Their 4th place finish is the highest finish at a conference championship for the Oilers since 2007 and the highest G-MAC finish ever! They've come together so well this whole season and it showed today.

The outcome for the men wasn't exactly go the way we expected. We had some things not go our way but that's the nature of sport. We had some guys who still had stellar performances. I know we'll grow from this experience and be ready to compete in 2 weeks at the regional championship."

The Oilers will be back in action as they head to the NCAA DII Midwest Regional in Kenosha, Wis. on Nov. 19.
