Winzeler Named Offensive Player of the Week

Findlay, Ohio – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced senior Matt Winzeler as the Football Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, March 15 after the first week of the 2021 spring football season.

In Findlay's opener, Winzeler led the Oilers to a road victory over Hillsdale College by a score of 45-24. In the game, the Toledo, Ohio shredded the Chargers' defense, completing 18 passes for 259 yards and four touchdowns. Of the 18 competitions, Findlay's quarterback connected with seven different receivers.

This is the third Offensive Player of the Week award of Winzeler's career.
