Keys Named NCAA DII Region 3 Coach of the Year

Rob Keys was voted the 2021 American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) NCAA Division II Region 3 Coach of the Year by his peers on Dec. 6.

Keys was voted the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Coach of the Year and led the Oilers to their first conference title since the 1997 campaign, which earned Findlay a second trip to the NCAA Division II playoffs. They finished the year with an 8-4 record and had 21 players earn all-conference accolades. They also have had two players earn all-region honors thus far.

Keys has led the Oilers to a 75-43 (.636) record during his tenure with the program dating back to the 2011 campaign. His winning percentage is the second-highest in program history of any coach who has coached more than 40 games.
