The University of Findlay men's swimming and diving program recorded the highest GPA in the nation at the NCAA Division II level during the spring semester while the women's squad ranked fourth.

The University of Findlay men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were both awarded Scholar All-American Team honors by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. To qualify, a team has to achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

The University of Findlay men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams completed the final day of the 2011 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship on Saturday, February 12 in Jenison, Michigan. The women finished the event in fifth place with 310 points while the men took seventh with 22 points.

The Oilers were paced by three triple-winners in a split at Wilmington College on Saturday. The UF women nipped the Quakers 104-98, while the men fell by a score of 109-65.

John Bogart and Ailsa Hershaw were event winners, while the UF women's 200-yard freestyle team also triumphed, but it was not enough for the Oilers to avoid a sweep by Wayne State in Detroit on Friday.

The University of Findlay men’s and women’s swimming teams competed against Ohio Wesleyan on Friday, January 21 in Sink Natatorium. The women’s team won 124-99 while the men’s team fell 128-61.

The University of Findlay men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams hosted Urbana University and Ursuline College on Friday, November 12. The women’s team defeated Urbana 84-15 and Ursuline 84-9. The men’s team lost 93-38 to Urbana and won 49-0 over Ursuline.
